Poet and critic. He has published the poetry collections Líricos instantes (Leteo, 2007), Lienzos de la otredad (Foro Nicaragüense de Cultura, 2010), Canvas of the Otherness (Leteo, 2012, bilingual edition), and Cuerpo fragmentado (Lector Disléxico, 2024). He is the recipient of a fellowship from the Artistic Residencies Program for Creators from Ibero-America and Haiti in Mexico and a grantee of the Cultural Mobility Program for Ibero-American Culture Professionals, from the Organization of Ibero-American States for Science, Education, and Culture (OEI). He holds a Master's degree in Creative Writing from the University of Texas at El Paso and completed a Ph.D. in Literature and Cultural Studies at Texas Tech University.
